Amendment 14 to the Constitution Article 1 states:
“Section 1.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
EVERY person born in this Country after 1868 is covered by this amendment. No matter who your parents are or where they came from. Whether your ancestor were Native American, Hispanic, African, Irish, Scottish, English, Slavic, German, French or whatever your genetic heritage may be. And all of your civil rights come from this amendment because it accurately and succinctly states who is a citizen and they have the rights stated within Our Constitution.
Our current President has decided to do away with this by Executive Order. A lower court ruling the Executive Order was not constitutional and that ruling was appealed, the ruling was upheld and now the Trump Administration has an appeal that the Supreme Court has agreed to hear. Should the Supreme Court rule in favor of the Trump Administration overturning over 150 years of interpretation and Supreme Court precedent then that would give our president the right make away ANY PERSON BORN OR NATURALIZED citizen, essentially, an illegal immigrant. What a way to deal with all of your enemies! No right to due process, you can’t vote, you can’t travel anywhere, don’t matter you if were or are in the military, no rights at all, at least according to our new version of the Gestapo – ICE. And then they have total control of you. All of material assets are now government property and if you are lucky you might get deported to Sudan or more likely you will be put in an ICE controlled work camp and used for slave labor. Don’t buy the snake oil that it will only apply to present illegal immigrants, or to Foreign women who happen to be in the United States when they give birth. IT WILL APPLY TO ANYONE THE PRESENT ADMINISTRATION WANTS TO SUPPRESS !!!!
But that is not all if the Supreme Court decides in favor of the Trump Administration they will have held that these six justices, the same ones who gave the President Total Lifetime Immunity from prosecution no matter what type transgression is committed, will solidify their power to declare any part of the Constitution is unconstitutional, As logically absurd that is. The Framers gave us a two ways to change the Constitution; Congress can propose an Amendment and send it to the States for ratification or for the States to call for a constitutional convention to hammer out they changes that all of them can agree on.
The Supreme Court may have made some bad judgements in the past but the Court has never given anything close to the power this court has given to this President. All in the name of the Federalist Society and Project 2025. Let them know that we are watching them and their puppeteers that they are still accountable to We the People.
