  • WAR For OIL?!!!

This morning the Administration bombed Caracas Venezuela destroying port facilities, military barracks, and abducting Madura and his wife. The initial justification for this act of war was to capture Madura and his wife for being the head of a major cocaine smuggling ring to bring him to New York City to put him and his wife who were indicted six years ago and put them on trial. But then during the President’s Address he said it was all about recovering the Venezuelan oil fields for their “rightful” owners – US oil companies.

Putting aside the fact the type of attack done this morning is under International Law, an Act of War, the attacks on the “Drug Smuggling Boats” have violated the Geneva Convention by killing those who might have survived a missile strike and were no longer a credible combatant, this administration is stealing a sovereign nation’s resources by going after the oil. It would seem that our President is acting more like Vladimir Putin than he is following the rules of law and war.

Now I believe the President when he say’s its about oil and I wonder what he was paid by the oil companies for this. We taxpayers have put up the front the money to move our military into the Caribbean Sea, put the lives of our military personnel at risk to further enrich a company like Exxon Mobile? $2/gallon gas, maybe but not likely. The President has made us a group of bandits no better than the drug cartels. so the Venezuelan people have nothing to gain from all this so we will now have to have a military presence in a hostile environment to protect the interests of the oil companies and that will only cost us taxpayers a minimal amount say about $1 Trillion a year for as long as the oil flows that should only run the price of gasoline up to $4 per gallon, because of the risk the oil companies are taking, and add about another one or two trillion dollars to the national debt each year. Great Fiscal responsibility! Then there will be the dead and wounded coming back home, we saw this in the Viet Nam war, and the Second Gulf war, neither of which worked to our advantage and our veterans and their families suffer the most. But the Oil Company CEOs will be happy.

I believe that the President no longer has the good of our nation and people as his primary interest, We as the people need to stand up to our Congress and demand the removal of the President and his entire group of flunkies NOW. Mark my words, Trump will try to pull a typical dictator move and cancel the mid-term elections because we will have a war going on in South America, and when he does that we will cease to be a Democracy. We will be no better off than the Russian people.

Sorry to less on decorum my friends but when someone like Trump puts the lives of our military at risk to enrich people who stroke his ego or fill his pockets, I cannot be calm and measured nor should each of you. War is not glorious it is dirty, bloody, and deadly ask any veteran who ever had to fight in a a place like Fallujah.
